M.A.I.'s KINDNESS ASSAULT
MAI’s Kindness Assault is a pledge to commit random acts of kindness. Random acts of kindness are selfless acts performed by a person wishing to either assist or cheer up an individual, the environment or in some cases an animal.
There is so much negativity around at the moment.
A lot of people are losing faith in society.
You can do something.
THIS IS YOUR CALL TO ACTION.
Where will the money go?
50% will go towards purchasing proper wrestling mats for the clubs
and 50% will go directly to The Bubblegum Club Children’s Charity.
Last year we raised €8439.34 for Our Lady's Children's Hospital
and we have also managed to raise over €16,500 for Barnardos in the past.
Things are tight with everyone financially at the moment but are still going to give this a go.
How does M.A.I.’s Kindness Assault work?
Receive a sponsorship pack & collect sponsorship.
Aim to commit 100 random acts of kindness (examples below) and write down your achievements.
SIMPLE!
Raise money for charity = WIN
+ Raise money for new club mats = WIN
+ Inject positivity back into society = WIN

There are many, many examples of random acts of kindness and here are a few easy ones:
* Hold a door open for someone * Call a friend out of the blue * Help carry an item for someone
* Call in to help an elderly neighbour * Give up your seat to someone that needs it more
* Help clean your street * Greet a stranger * Send a complimentary email/text * Give way to traffic
* Be courteous to pedestrians * Be friendly to fellow staff * Offer to babysit * Listen to a friends’ problem
* ETC. ETC. ETC.

When does M.A.I.’s Kindness Assault start?
The official start date is December 1st but you can start at any stage throughout December up to the 20th.
Please return all sponsorship on or before December 20th.
What happens Sunday December 20th?
Martial Arts Incorporated’s Christmas Party 2009.
This is a great opportunity for everyone to meet and greet before the New Year.
All members are invited.
Takes place at M.A.I. D.7 from 1pm to 4pm.
There will be music, presentations,
a special screening and treats.
Admission is FREE!
